It was built in 1812 and features a relief of Cypress trees and birds made of limestone above the doorway. The windmill served as a vital resource for the inhabitants of the era and is an example of folk architecture and a historical relic.<\/p><p><strong>Bibliography \/ Comments<\/strong> : An 1812 Index Card mentions the Agkistri village, where Geor. D. They were built with limestone in the traditional way, featuring a protective wall (filiatro) around the well's mouth and a terrace around the periphery. Another term used is \"tarsanas\" and no doubt they are an important part of the cultural heritage.
