Description : The stele is placed on a pedestal with a stepped base, ending in a tower-like pediment. It bears the names of those who died between 1912 and 1947. The monument was constructed by the Community of Agkistri under President Anastasiou and is situated in the courtyard of the Church of the Zoodochos Pigi.

Description : A monument in the courtyard of the church of Agioi Anargyroi commemorates the heroes who died during the Turkish occupation. It honours the chieftain Mitromaras and the warrior Agistriotis Ioannis. The pedestal-shaped stele is topped by a bird, possibly an eagle, with open wings perched on a globe. The monument was erected through the initiative of the Skala Agistri Association under the leadership of Konstantinos Papanikolaou. Mitros 'Mitromaras' Lekkas was an Armatol who was active during the First Russian-Turkish War (1768-1774). After being wounded in combat, he retreated to the island of Agkistri in the Saronic Gulf, where he passed away on February 15, 1772.

Description : This bust was sculpted by Praxitelis Tzanoulinos and is dedicated to the Diopos Artilleryman Antonis Antoniou. Antoniou was born in 1918 in Agkistri, joined the Navy in 1937, and served on various types of ships. In 1942, he was assigned to the destroyer escort ship "Adrias". On 21 July 1943, in the east of Sicily, off the port of Augusta, ADRIAS faced the coordinated attack of three German torpedo boats in a night battle, during which Diopos Antoniou fell heroically fighting in the turret of the gun battery.
Bibliography / Comments : Praxitelis Tzanoulinos, born in 1955 in Falatado, Tinos, has created many outdoor sculptures. Since 1989, he has been teaching sculpture and sculpture conservation at the University of West Attica.

Description : This is a commemorative stele honoring the fallen between the years 1912 and 1947. It is located in the square of Kountouriotis Antonis and was erected during the presidency of A. Dedes. The memorial was donated by the family of K. Xanalatos.

Description : Next to the old Metropolis of Agios Georgios in Megalochori, there is a distinctive funerary monument. It is said that in 1814, the remains of the men of the chieftain Mitromaras were deposited there. After his death in 1772, many of his men, known as the "Lebesides," were captured and transported to Athens, where the voevodas of Athens executed them.
