A major project has recently been completed, aiming to highlight the natural beauty of Agistri: the mapping and signposting of selected hiking routes across the island. The new network combines traditional footpaths, forest roads, and passages through landscapes of exceptional natural beauty, showcasing the island’s character and geological diversity.
The goal of the project is to offer both visitors and residents a safe and well-organized way to explore Agistri’s landscape in an authentic and meaningful way, unfolding routes where nature meets history and local identity.
The official presentation of the trails will take place next week, marking the beginning of a new era for sustainable and experiential tourism on the island. The routes are already accessible, with on-site signage improving orientation and supporting safe exploration.
